About myself

My name is Lisa-Lou Gracia. I graduated from CPE Lyon as a chemical engineer in 2019 where I studied organic and inorganic chemistry, analytical and process chemistry. I also graduated in 2019 from University Lyon 1 with a double diploma Master 2 in catalysis where I worked on a thesis about the Direct Synthesis of Cycloalkanes from Diols and secondary Alcohols or Ketones using a homogeneous Manganese Catalyst under the supervision of Dr. Quadrelli, Dr. Camp and Akash Kaithal.1 Since September 2019, I have been a PhD student in Claudia Bizzarri’s research group at KIT. My project is included in the 3MET project, which is interested in the investigation of metals cooperativity in different research fields, and my project focuses on the study of multinuclear transition metal complexes for the photocatalytic reduction of carbon dioxide. In particularly, my aim will be the synthesis and the characterization of metal complexes that can be used as catalysts in the previously mentioned photocatalytic system, using only non-noble metals.
